Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training (DECT), Assam has released the official ITI Admission Notification 2023 for admission in Government and Private ITIs of Assam for the session 2023 - 2024. Interested and eligible candidates from Assam may apply online at www.itiassam.nic.in. For admission to NCVT/COE trades, SCVT trades, SCVT under IMC, NCVT under IMC (NCVT and SCVT trades run by IMC in some ITIs) under Craftsmen Training Scheme.

Age Limit :

The age of the candidates for admission must not be below 14 years as on 1st August 2023 .

1. Post Name : Welder, Plumber ,Dress Making, Sewing Technology, Surface Ornamentation Techniques (Embroidery)

Duration: 01 year

Educational Qualification: Passed 8th class examination

2. Post Name : Stenographer & Secretarial Assistant (English), Fashion Design & Technology, Desktop Publishing (DTP) Operator, Multi Media Animation and Special Effects, Digital Photographer, Mechanic Auto Body Painting, Secretarial Practice (English), Cosmetology, Front Office Assistant, Fire Technology & Industrial Safety Management

Duration: 01 year

Educational Qualification: Passed 10th class or its equivalent

3. Post Name : Computer Operator & Programming Assistant

Duration: 01 year

Educational Qualification: Passed 10th class examination

4. Post Name : BLTT (Bodo Language Transcription Trade)

Duration: 6 months

Educational Qualification: Passed 10th class examination.

5. Post Name : Mechanic Diesel , Pump Operator cum Mechanic, Plastic Processing Operator, Mechanic Tractor, Mechanic Auto Body Repair, , Solar Technician

Duration: 01 year

Educational Qualification: Passed 10th class examination with Science & Mathematics or its equivalent.

6. Post Name : COE sector (BBBT modules): Plastic processing sector, Fabrication(Fitting & Welding) sector, Construction & Wood Working sector, Information Technology sector

Duration: 01 year

Educational Qualification: Passed 10th class examination

7. Post Name : Painter( General)

Duration: 02 years

Educational Qualification: Passed 10th class examination

8. Post Name : Mechanic Agricultural Machinery

Duration: 02 years

Educational Qualification: Passed 10th class examination with Science & Mathematics

9. Post Name : Soil Testing and Crop Technician

Duration: 01 year

Educational Qualification: Passed 10th class examination with Science & Mathematics

10. Post Name : Electrician, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Draughtsman Civil, Draughtsman Mechanical, Fitter, Machinist, Turner, Surveyor, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, Refrigeration & Air Conditioner Technician,, Information & Communication Technology System Maintenance, Maintenance Mechanic Chemical Plant

Duration: 02 years

Educational Qualification: Passed 10th class examination with Science & Mathematics or its equivalent

11. Post Name : Wireman

Duration: 02 years

Educational Qualification: Passed 8th class examination

Assam ITI Admission Process

 Admission process to various ITIs of Assam involves following stages.

 

# After registration, all the candidates will have to report at their nearest Govt. ITI along with their all original documents, certificates etc. within the scheduled date & time, for verification of their registration particulars.

 

# Candidates should note that after successful verification, they may fill their choices of trades and ITIs according to their preference, to enable them to participate in the allotment process.

# Allotted candidates should take admission in their allotted seats otherwise their candidature will be treated as cancelled.

# The passed out candidates from NCVT trades will be issued NCVT certificates & from SCVT trades will be issued SCVT certificates. 

How To Apply for ITI Admission 2023?

Interested and eligible candidates must first register their name online by visiting official ITI Admission Portal. Candidates may follow below mentioned steps to apply for these courses.

Step 1: Scroll down, go to Important Web-Links section .

Step 2: Click on the "Online Registration" and complete the registration process by clicking "New Candidate Registration". 

 

Step 3: After that again click on Online Registration Link and login with your Application Number & Password. 

Step 4: Fill your all personal and educational details and upload necessary documents.

Step 5: At the end, take a print out of the application form .

ITI Assam Admission Fee

Candidates need to pay a certain amount as admission fee to get admission in different ITIs of Assam. Here are the admission fees that is fixed for current academic session.

NCVT & SCVT Trades

# Tuition Fees (Rs.50/- per month): Rs.600/- (for 1 year) | Rs.1200/- (for two years)

# Caution Money (Refundable): Rs.250/-

# Registration Fees: Rs.25/-

# Medical Examination, Fees: Rs. 25/-

# Trainees Union Fees: For 1 year Rs.175/- & For 2 years Rs.350/-

# Hostel Service Charge: Rs.50/- (where applicable)

# Hostel Caution Money (Refundable): Rs.250/ (where applicable)

$$ For BPL Candidates, the payment of Tuition fees is waived off, except SCVT under IMC courses.

SCVT under IMC Courses

# For Non Engineering course: Rs.15,000/- per year

# For Engineering course: Rs.16,500/- (for one year) & Rs.33,000/- (for two years
